This year is the start of another adventure. Right now, I'm finishing up my third year at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. I'm majoring in "Sustainable Agriculture and Environment" and I am pursuing a minor in "Japanese Language and Culture."
In January of 2021, I started learning Japanese in hopes of learning about my Japanese roots. After studying for the last 2 years, I've made lots of Japanese and Japanese-language learning friends. The next step in my journey is studying abroad in Japan!
I want to use this blog to document my journey in Japan and share my experience with my friends and family at home. Maybe this blog will help me navigate culture shock and homesickness during my year abroad. Join me as I explore Japan, one day at a time!
